Worst was around 400k if I could stay on back when I had ISDN.
Best was 80-120 average...
I just recently had the cable tech put a seperate modem to the digital phone and now I'm constant 43-70...amazing how much bandwith that thing sucked up from my gaming. I expect it to get better once they fix a corrputed cable in the neighborhood.

Might be slightly off topic but has anyone noticed that since the release of Guild Wars pings have gone up, I used to average 30ms ~ 40ms, that went up by around 10ms in the first year, and now I'm sitting up at 85ms ~ 105MS, then again this could just be the side effect of Development in my area.
Best 30ms
Worst 170k

What's the theoretical maximum ping? At some point "high latency" registers as a d/c.
I'm surprised there wasn't an OVER NINE THOUSAND post.

I'm surprised too. No one on a serious programming side, especially on such a highly efficient online game as GW, wouldn't put a threshold on ping. Unless the "ping window" measures something else (such as ping packets)? 971s is more than 15 minutes...
